Clark Theological College (CTC) is one of the premier theological institutions in North East India, established in 1972 and situated in Mokokchung District, Nagaland. CTC has been responding to the conflict situation in North East India for the past two decades by offering various courses and workshops in the area of conflict and peace-building. Clark Centre for Peace Research and Action (CCPRA) was established as a result of a peace consultation of the CTC faculty in November 2009. The Centre was formally inaugurated by Mr. Niketu Iralu on 10th November 2011.
The CCPRA continues to be a collective effort of the Clark community and its well-wishers. Our key financial supporter for this project is EMW Germany. CTC is convinced that there is an urgent need for responding to the conflict situation in North East India by offering resources and building consciousness regarding Religious, Conflict and Peace-building. There is urgent need for educating a new generation of peace loving individuals, leaders, and communities. With the establishment of CCPRA, CTC reaffirms its commitment to reflect, evolve and respond to the growth and need for peace-building in North East India and the world at large.
